Vacation Bible School: Day 1

     We had an awesome first day of VBS! There were a little over 60 kids in attendance (Not including adults just the kids). We had an awesome time singing fun songs (Several that are from Patch the Pirates CD Mt. Zion Marathon). Jeremy was in charge of leading the songs and I had the opportunity to play the piano. We also had puppets, worksheets/ coloring sheets, snacks, and most importantly a Bible story.

     It was amazing to me how quiet all of the kids were during the Bible story! We did not have one problem. They all sat captivated by the story of Jesus healing the blind man. At the end they all got a snack (The picture of it is below) It is sugar and egg white beat together and then it becomes hard. I personally did not like it, but the kids seemed to love it. All in all it was a good day. I am tired now and ready for some sleep, but am also excited about waking up in the morning and doing it all over again!
